Today we leave for Panama. We were all ready to go, when we learned that there would be a delay. There were two reasons for this. It's the last time we will be able to do laundry, so we overloaded the housekeeping crew. The second reason is that a town en route to Panama is having a strike. The local government has increased water prices, causing the townspeople to protest. They are striking in the street, blocking traffic and there is no other way to get around. We will be updated at eleven o'clock as to the conditions of the revolt.
Our oppurtunities to access internet will be very limited; therefore, student's responses will be lessened. Rest assured that we are all smiling and eager to take the second step in our adventure!
