Today we got picked up from our homestays in La Argentina. It was wonderful ¨experiencing how to live,¨ which was one of the slogans of one of the farms named Raices. After saying goodbye to our gracious hosts we headed off to white water rafting! We adventured through numerous exciting rapids and throughly enjoyed the experience. We then had a delicious typical costa rican lunch provided by the rafting crew. We really worked up an appetite. Following lunch we returned to Earth University and reclaimed our old rooms and roomates. Then we were off to the cultural celebration! The Earth Univeristy international students showed us dances from their homelands, which included Mexico, Ecuador, Panama, Peru, Colombia, and even bellydancing from the Middle East. In addition to those impressive performances we enjoyed feast upon linens. The day was full of terrific new experiences and it ended with everyone dancing the night away! A fabulous Day 12!

Day 12
